Ground Umeboshi paste

Umeboshi is Umé plum fermented for various months with salt and shiso leaves, which give it a characteristic reddish color. Umeboshi alkalinizes and aids in digestion, while Jinenjo is energizing.

Umé is known for its high citric acid content, which has an alkalinizing effect.

Composition: 74% Umé plum, 16% sea salt, 10% umeboshi vinegar (red).

Made in Japan.

Format: 250g bottle.

Instructions for use: Umeboshi paste can be used to prepare a vinaigrette or spread on a piece of toast.
